Griswold Home Care for South St. Louis

Griswold offered a refreshingly smooth private duty elder care experience. Griswold professionals were reliable. They showed up on time and actively interacted and engaged with my mother who was in memory care. They coordinated effectively with facility staff, PT and OT professionals, while also tracking activities and benchmarks throughout the day so I could get an accurate picture of how my mom was progressing -- or not. Each time I stopped in unannounced, the Griswold staff member was at my mother's side with their phone put away. Brad, the owner/director, was always accessible -- even meeting with me at the hospital prior to mom's discharge and at her memory care unit when she arrived home. He even subbed for one of his employees when they called off sick and met each employee at the house to orient them to the facility and staff on their first day. When additional shifts were needed, Brad filled the voids quickly. After five agencies, I did not think there was an "excellent" elder care private duty service out there. I was wrong -- there is. It's Griswold South County

First off, the manger at the South County location Brad Lemen is terrible. He is very manipulative & money hungry. This company is unorganized. They are short staffed & communication is awful.
